Dispute Resolution

Structured procedures governing review, clarification, and resolution of verification-related matters.

Section 1

1. Purpose of Dispute Resolution Framework

Global Coach Verification maintains a structured dispute resolution process to ensure fairness, procedural integrity, and governance oversight.

This framework applies to matters relating to:

  • Verification outcomes
  • Risk classifications
  • Accreditation determinations
  • Register status changes
  • Alleged procedural irregularities

This framework does not apply to commercial disputes between coaches and third parties.

Section 2

2. Stage I — Clarification Request

Where an individual or organisation believes a verification matter requires clarification, a written request may be submitted to the Governance Office.

The request must include:

  • Full name and Verification ID (if applicable)
  • Description of the matter
  • Supporting documentation
  • Specific area of concern

Clarification requests are reviewed to determine whether procedural error or material oversight occurred.

Section 3

3. Stage II — Formal Review

Where sufficient grounds exist, a formal review may be initiated.

Formal review may assess:

  • Assessment scoring consistency
  • Documentation interpretation
  • Risk classification determination
  • Procedural compliance

The review is conducted by an independent governance reviewer not directly involved in the original determination where feasible.

Section 4

4. Possible Outcomes

Following review, outcomes may include:

  • Confirmation of original decision
  • Amendment of classification
  • Conditional accreditation adjustment
  • Suspension pending further information

All review outcomes are documented within governance records.

Section 5

5. Timeframes

Dispute submissions should be made within:

  • 14 days of verification outcome notification (individual applicants)
  • 30 days of corporate verification issuance (organisations)

Governance response timeframes may vary depending on case complexity.

Section 6

6. Limitations of Review

The dispute resolution process:

  • Reviews procedural integrity
  • Reviews evidence interpretation
  • Reviews compliance with stated standards

It does not:

  • Re-assess subjective disagreement
  • Override documented evidence
  • Provide legal adjudication
  • Guarantee revision of outcomes

Accreditation decisions reflect structured review compliance at time of determination.

Section 7

7. Suspension Pending Review

Where a material governance concern arises, accreditation status may be temporarily marked as:

Under Governance Review

Pending outcome of formal assessment.

This measure is precautionary and does not constitute final determination.

Section 8

8. Final Determination

Decisions issued following formal review constitute final internal determination.

Global Coach Verification does not operate as a judicial body, and external legal remedies remain available under applicable law.

Section 9

9. Submission of Dispute

To submit a dispute or clarification request, contact the Governance Office.

Include:

  • Verification ID
  • Full contact details
  • Detailed written statement
  • Supporting evidence

The dispute resolution framework exists to maintain procedural integrity and governance accountability within the verification system.
